Who we are?
HISTORY BEGINS
The Swimming Federation of India (SFI) is the national governing body for aquatic sports in India. Legally, it is a non-profit association registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961. The Federation holds elections for its office bearers every four years.The SFI currently oversees competition in the sports of swimming, masters swimming, synchronized swimming, diving, high diving, and water polo. It is affiliated to FINA, and the Asian Swimming Federation (ASF).
Our Activities
PARTNERSHIP WITH GLENMARK AQUATIC FOUNDATION
Glenmark Aquatic Foundation, The non profit CSR initiative of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited has entered into a long term agreement with SFI to transform the sport of swimming in India. GAF and SFI would work together in enhancing the ecosystem of swimming in India through Sponsorship of National Events, Coach Education and Scientific development with an eye to produce champions from India at the International stage
SFI has also tied up with Speedo and Myrtha Pools as partners in its efforts.
